Classic formula one race car Lotus 69 BR6 of Jochen Rindt. The pictured formula 1 Lotus 69 race car was originally driven by Austria's formula one world champion Jochen Rindt (and Graham Hill) in the formula I Grand Prix season of 1969 and 1970. The Lotus car was engineered by Colin Chapman of the Lotus 'Golden Leaf' racing team. Later in the season Jochen Rindt switched to the Lotus 72. Jochen Rindt was killed in an accident in his Lotus 72 in Monza, Italy, in the year of 1970.
