Model Aisha - The Wounded Woman - A Martyrdom of Life

Model Aisha & The Shadow OF The Devil

Model Aisha & The Shadow OF The Devil

Aisha’s Life - A story dedicated to all the wounded women in the world.

About ‘Model Aisha’ & ‘A Martyrdom of Life’ (a very brief overview) : At the age of eight years she was raped by one of her mother’s steadily changing friends. Her mother commited suicide at age of 30. The public welfare put her to a boarding school, and soon Aisha and her sister were passed on to foster parents on a farm where both were treated like ‘cheap farm helpers’ , not like beloved kids. Thereafter she went to Vienna, Austria’s capital - a young, inexperienced, but pretty girl from the country side in the jungle of Austria’s largest city. Very soon she was introduced to the wrong people and spent some time in a gang. › Continue reading

Peter Beard - Pirelli Calendar 2009 - Making Of Video

Pirelli Calendar 2009 by Peter Beard

Pirelli Calendar 2009 by Peter Beard

For decades now the ‘Pirelli Calendar’ is likely the most famous calendar in the world. Photographed by some of the best photographers and featuring only the top models of their time. And the Pirelli Calendar isn’t for sale, you can’t buy it officially. It’s a collectors item but sometimes there are offers on Ebay.

In my opinion the new released Pirelli Calendar 2009 tops it all. Photographed by Peter Beard at the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Africa, and featuring very tough models. On location photography at it’s best. Peter Beard does film and digital.  Over 60.000 images were made and Peter Beard has plans to publish a book covering the Pirelli shooting. And in the first time ever it isn’t just a calendar. It is also a statement about Africa and it’s threatened wildlife. Many thanks to Pirelli for supporting it ! › Continue reading

Cross-Country with a ‘Big Healey’ 3000 MK III to some of the most beautiful places in Austria. To drive, not to be driven - “The way that you wander is the way that you choose. The day that you tarry is the day that you lose…”

Text by Aisha Hajdin and Reinfried Marass.
Photographed by Reinfried Marass for ‘Healey Marque’.

Surrounded by springlike mild temperatures, paired with a scenical view on Austria’s snow-covered pikes, a removed top and the marvolous agility of an Austin Healey makes a trip across mountain routes a special kind of life experience.

Austria is a small country located in the heart of Europe, with a landscape scenery that is famous for it’s mountains, lakes and rivers - a fact which is even anchored in it’s Hymn.
